Vyacheslav "Slava" Danylov - Head Coach (Boys' Team)
Our very own coach Slava is Star Ledger's Coach of the Year for 2009. Slava has
a Master's degree in Physical Education and Psychology, an International Class
Master of Sports in Fencing. As a full time fencer, he competed in 5 World
Championships. He was multiple times Soviet Union and Ukrainian Champion.
Slava earned a Gold medal at the World University Games. He also has won the
International Tour-Vincents many years consecutively.

Marc Seigel - Head Coach (Girls' Team)
Marc is entering his 3rd year as a Chemistry teacher at Ridge and his 10th in
education. A foil fencer by trade, he has 6 years of competitive fencing experience
both at the HS and college level, and has competed in both state and national
tournaments through the USFA. Marc has also served as a fencing club advisor
for a school in Union County. He is extremely excited for his coaching opportunity
and is looking forward to great things at Ridge this year!
